  • You are not alone

    This group was developed as a supportive online space for helping professionals who are noticing burnout in their lives and would like to do something about it.

    The founders are two mental health professional who drew on their own experiences, empirical research, and best educational practices to guide you in paving your own path to freedom from burnout.

    The goal of a peer support platform is to develop a sense of belonging in sharing experiences with peers, making meaning together, and empowering each other to make changes to benefit your wellbeing.

  • What to expect

    This is an online 8-week long, semi-structured, peer support group. You will receive resources (not homework/mandatory) prior to each session via email specific to the topic covered (see below) to help guide group discussions (this may include a video, article, podcast). Each session will begin with a check-in and mindfulness exercise before moving into a brief educational presentation, smaller group sharing, and then a large group discussion.

    Ultimately, you will gain knowledge, skills, and create new meaning that informs what you believe about yourself and how you interact with your environment.

Meet your peer facilitators - Sarah & Bethany:

 

We are mental health professionals and we have been there! We have an intimate relationship with burnout and have dug into the research, read the books, and approached our own burnout through an evidence-based lens and we are ready to share that with you!

The idea for this group came about on a soul-searching trip to the desert, after realizing that we could have really benefitted from a group exactly like this one! So, we decided to build it ourselves,

Although this is not therapy and certainly not a substitution for therapy (see disclosures above), we are passionate to provide the education and space for helping professionals who work so hard to the betterment of others.
